Sound Show 2.0.4
· Stable
New
- Added USB MIDI controller support on Android
- Added search field in configuration dialogs of playable, category, project and Preferences
Improvements
- Added: move the whole projection-mapped display area by dragging inside its shape, or by holding Ctrl (Cmd on macOS) while dragging a corner or using its arrow keys. Shift-drag resizes proportionally around the center by default. A selector chooses the fixed point (Center / Opposite corner), and Shift+Alt-drag temporarily uses the other anchor.
- Added MIDI action selection to the MIDI configuration dialog, to allow changing the current action without needing to add the midi action panel.
- MIDI: Added possibility to a WinMM as connection method for MIDI device on Windows, so older devices can use WinMM alongside WinRT devices. WinRT remains the default
- Linux audio now requests real-time scheduling to reduce interruptions when the system is busy.
- Added an advanced buffer-size setting for each audio output device, with Automatic as the default.
- Performance reports enriched to retain the worst playback periods. Options → Diagnostics now offers Disabled, Basic (the default) and Full performance collection levels.
Fixes
- Fixed empty projects to have always at least a favorite and a main category.
- Fixed tags disappearing after applying configuration
- Fixed some MP3 files failing to play or generate waveforms because of malformed or unsupported metadata tags.
- Fixed Alt+Enter in display windows toggling fullscreen twice and returning to windowed mode. Holding the shortcut now toggles only once per press.
- Fixed MIDI pads starting sounds twice after removing and re-adding a controller when old assignments were retained. Assignments from removed devices no longer trigger actions or affect pad lighting.
- Fixed MIDI grid bindings using a Favorites grid's dimensions instead of the full playable grid. Learning, playback and pad feedback now follow the matching active grid.
- Fixed "Always ducker" sounds failing to lower other sounds when the global Ducking toggle was off.
- Fixed MIDI buttons triggering actions again on release when sending a Control Change value of 0.
- Fixed MIDI learning ignoring new input after a controller reconnects.
- Fixed repeated audio-output restarts after temporary buffer interruptions on Linux.
