Free And Pro

Sound Show Free contains the core soundboard, visual, cue, and project tools. Sound Show Pro removes the category and playable limits and adds production features such as advanced audio routing, recording, workspace customization, web playables, and external integrations.

One Pro license covers Windows, macOS, Linux, and Android.

Android automatically uses the mobile workspace. The core playback and project experience is available, but Android does not currently match every desktop workflow:

  • global background keyboard shortcuts are not available;
  • desktop file drag-and-drop and external command playables are not available;
  • MIDI support is incomplete;
  • visual output (video, images, webcam, color backgrounds, text, layers, audience display windows, HTML/JavaScript, and web URL playables) is not supported in either Free or Pro;
  • secondary workspace windows are not available;
  • Stream Deck, OBS Studio, QLC+, and Twitch host integrations are desktop-only;
  • OSC and other network integration workflows still require Android validation where noted in the table.

These are platform limitations, not a separate Pro license. The universal Pro license can be activated on any supported combination of desktop and Android devices within its device allowance.

Free can be used locally without an account. Pro requires an account and activation. A universal Pro license includes three activated devices, and more device slots can be purchased.

Purchased Pro works offline without periodic checks. When connected, Sound Show checks for blocked licenses and removed devices. Initial activation requires a connection. For devices that cannot connect, contact support.

Deactivate a connected installation to free its slot. If the old installation cannot confirm deactivation, each license includes two immediate replacements in any rolling 12 months. Further replacements require support. You must stop using Pro on the replaced installation.

Trials and time-limited grants retain their expiry. Older versions require an update and one successful license check to obtain permanent offline authorization.
