I tried adding 1 marker on a sound, but nothing happened.
Where are they displayed?
edit: they seem to be displayed on the playing waveform (but their title is not visible). Is this the only place?

Yes currently markers are only visual indicators displayed on the sound player and on the edition waveform.
Later I plan to use them to add effects at some position or to navigate rapidly to a section of a track.
