Hi Laurent,

This is an absolutely incredible piece of software. I have been looking for something like this for ages and I can't believe I've finally found it. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I could not upgrade to Pro fast enough. (Even if Spotify integration isn't coming; I can live with switching between the two and having that be the great white whale!)

I do have a few requests, if possible:

  1. Would you be willing/able to enable a drag/drop interface for buttons from the main grid to be added to the playlist without having to go into Edit mode? It's a minor annoyance, although not a deal breaker, to have to switch into Edit mode to be able to drag tracks into the playlist one at a time.
  2. It would be very helpful if there was a setting on the crossfader to enable a fade out of the current track but not have the next track fade in. In other words, when the crossfade time is reached, the next track on the playlist fires at full volume rather than ramping up over the fade-out of the previous track.
  3. Instead of just the little "dot" as the played track indicator, could you implement some sort of skin where the button would turn to a faded/washed-out color of whatever color is on the button?

Thanks again for all your hard work on this!

Hello Brian,
Sorry for the late answer.
Thank you for the nice comment and detailed feedback.
1. Yes I could add this, I'll probably add this as an option and it will only work for the playlist and instructions and not moving items to prevent unwanted changes when running a show.
2. Good idea, I'll see if I can add more options on how the crossfade works
3. If you edit a category, you can check the option "Lock items played". When an item of the category is played, this makes the button greyed/darker and prevent the user to play it again. It is the visual effect you seem to want but you can't directly play the button again without unlocking it before.

That all sounds great. If there was a way to get the program to recognize a left-click-and-hold as opposed to a normal left click, I think you might be able to pull off the idea of dragging a button to the playlist. I have no idea how feasible that is, though, if at all.

The lock items played feature is what I was thinking for some sort of other visual cue. Either that could be appropriated somehow for an unlocked and played button, or maybe there’s something else (a double click, maybe, or a control-click?) that would play a locked button, essentially overriding the lock.

Thank you again and no worries on the delay, I very much understand that life happens!
