This page explains how to request deletion of a Sound Show account and what may be retained after deletion.
1. Delete Your Account
You can request account deletion from the account page:
- Sign in to the Sound Show account.
- Open the account deletion section.
- Read the retention notice.
- Confirm the deletion request.
If you cannot access the account, contact Sound Show through the contact form and include the email address associated with the account.
2. What Is Deleted Or Anonymized
When deletion is completed, Sound Show removes or anonymizes personal data that is no longer needed, including account profile information, active sessions, verification records, support-message personal data where possible, active devices, activations, and offline entitlement tokens.
3. What May Be Retained
Some records may be retained when needed for:
- invoices, tax, accounting, and payment records;
- refunds, chargebacks, fraud prevention, abuse prevention, and legal claims;
- proof of purchased licenses or retained license rights;
- proof of accepted legal terms;
- security and administration audit history.
Retained records should be minimized and kept only for as long as legally or operationally necessary.
4. Purchased Licenses
Deleting an account does not automatically erase the legal or accounting evidence of a purchase. Purchased lifetime-license records may be retained so Sound Show can support invoices, refunds, fraud prevention, and license continuity.
If a retained license needs to be restored or transferred after deletion, contact Sound Show support.
5. Free App Local Data
The Sound Show desktop app may store local projects, preferences, cached terms acceptance, and local licensing state on your device. Website account deletion does not remove files stored locally by the app.
To delete local app data, remove it from the device where the app is installed.
6. Contact
Questions about deletion or retained records may be sent through the contact form.
