I'm using the latest update on Windows 11 and when I add a sound, or edit the program in any way, I am not able to save the file.

Is there any error message when you try to save?
if there is some writing authorisation problem, Maybe, you can create a new project in an other location. To do that go in the menu bar: Project -> New.
