(Sound Show Pro – Desktop)

Version 1.3 — Last updated: 30.11.2025

These Terms and Conditions (“T&C”) govern the sale and use of the Sound Show Pro – Desktop software (“the Software”), developed and sold by Laurent Herbin, an independent entrepreneur based in Belgium (“the Publisher”).

Purchasing a license of the Software constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of these T&C.

2. Product Description

Sound Show Pro – Desktop is an advanced soundboard software for Windows, macOS, and Linux.

It extends the free version “Sound Show” with advanced features, including:

  • Unlimited tabs and sounds
  • Visual customization options (grid sizes, skins, icons…)
  • Additional modules (MIDI controller, QLC+ lighting integration, OBS integration, remote interface…)
  • Future enhancements at the Publisher’s discretion

3. License Models

3.1 Standard License (Per User)

By default, the Software is licensed as:

  • Lifetime license (one-time payment)
  • Personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive
  • Valid for one natural person, who may install and use the Software on all devices personally owned by that User

The Software itself may be shared freely (as it contains a free mode), but the license key must never be shared.

3.2 Alternative License (Per Device)

A second usage model is permitted:

  • The User may choose to apply the license per device, allowing multiple people to use the Software on a single machine (e.g. theatre or shared workstation)
  • The license key must remain limited to a single device

This choice is made solely by the User based on their operational needs.

No technical configuration or purchase-time option is required.

Both usage models are allowed, but the same license key may not be used simultaneously on multiple devices unless the User owns all the devices (per-user model).

4. Price and Payment

The price is the one displayed at purchase time.

Payment is a single one-time fee.

Prices may change for future purchases without retroactive effect.

5. Delivery

After payment, the User receives:

  • A download link
  • A personal license key

Delivery is considered complete when this information is sent.

6. Authorized Use

The User may:

  • Install and use the Software according to the chosen license model
  • Use it professionally or personally
  • Download updates by retrieving the latest version from the official website

The User may not:

  • Share, publish, sell, rent, or distribute their license key
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, attempt to access or bypass protections
  • Modify the Software
  • Resell or sublicense the Software

The Software itself may be shared, but the license key may not.

The Publisher may deactivate a license key in case of abuse or fraud.

7. Updates

Updates are provided free of charge.

The User must download the latest version from the official website to receive updates.

Updates may add, modify, or remove features at the Publisher’s discretion.

8. Support

Support is available via the contact form:

https://soundshow.app/contactus

The Publisher makes reasonable efforts to assist Users but does not guarantee response times or resolution.

9. Refund Policy

  • A full refund may be issued within 15 days of purchase, without justification.
  • After 15 days, refunds may be granted based on the User’s justification, at the Publisher’s discretion.

Requests must be submitted via the contact form:

10. Warranty Disclaimer

The Software is provided “as is”, without any guarantee of:

  • uninterrupted operation
  • compatibility with all systems

The User acknowledges using the Software at their own risk.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Publisher shall not be liable for:

  • Data loss
  • Lost revenues or business opportunities
  • Incompatibilities or system failures
  • Any direct or indirect damages arising from the use or inability to use the Software

Liability is capped at the price paid for the license.

12. EU Withdrawal Right

The User acknowledges that the right of withdrawal does not apply once:

  • the Software has been downloaded, or
  • the license key has been delivered

as it constitutes digital content not supplied on a physical medium.

13. GDPR & Personal Data Protection

13.1 Data Collected and Role of Stripe

Personal data required for the purchase — including name, email address, postal address (for VAT purposes), and payment information — is collected and processed by Stripe, acting as a data processor on behalf of the Publisher under Article 28 GDPR.
