Sound Show 2.0.0
· Stable
Sound Show 2.0 is the first stable release of the rebuilt application for Windows, macOS, Linux and Android. It brings together the features and fixes developed during early access.
Workspace and show preparation
- Arrange your workspace with configurable panels and desktop, Phone or Pro Touch layouts. Configure player controls and waveform detail for your setup.
- Use the Markers panel to see sound and video markers, jump to a cue or crossfade to its position. Player display panels can show large titles and elapsed, remaining or next-marker times.
- Build instruction sequences with playback, stop, fade and toggle actions. Dialog playables can present a choice of buttons that trigger show actions.
Playback and editing
- Edit start, stop and loop positions from waveforms, and use markers to trigger project or local playables. Select the visual layer when combining images and videos on a display.
- Includes the early-access improvements to playback responsiveness, waveform loading, category navigation, project search and audio-device handling.
Important changes
- Existing early-access Pro trials keep their expiry dates after the official release. Connect when prompted to refresh offline access. Launch does not grant a second trial or an automatic extension.
- New eligible users can start a one-week Pro trial inside the app. Existing early-access trials keep their own expiry dates.
- Existing preview installations receive the official release through the normal update prompt. Back up your projects before upgrading.
- Keep original V1 projects and save imported V2 projects under a different name. Projects saved by V2 cannot be reopened in V1.
Platform notes
- Android updates use manual installation of the signed APK. The desktop updater supports Windows, macOS and Linux.
